    王跃进,男,汉族,19584月生,陕西三原县人,中共党员,博士,教授,博士生导师,农业部东北地区园艺作物生物学与种质创制重点实验室学术委员会副主任。西北农林科技大学国家重点学科果树学学科学术带头人,是陕西省"三五人才",教育部跨世纪优秀人才,国务院政府特殊津贴获得者,中国科学技术协会授予的全国优秀科技工作者。国务院学位委员会第六届学科评议组成员;教育部高等学校实验教学指导委员会副主任委员;中国园艺学会常务理事;陕西省园艺学会理事长;陕西省科协副主席;,陕西省学位委员会第三届委员、陕西省学位委员会学科评议组成员;陕西省高级专家协会常务理事;陕西省发明协会会员;《中国农学通报》副主编、西北植物学报副主编、《园艺学报》、《果树学报》、《中外葡萄与葡萄酒》、《西北农林科技大学学报》(自然科学版)等编委会委员。
